Slideshare

Slideshare is a free site where users can send  presentations in PowerPoint or OpenOffice, which are then stored and converted into flash format to be viewed on-line, where you can add comments. You can share your presentations and network.

It used to a better distribution of the presentations and it is an excellent medium  of personal communication, that does not include transitions or animations in the  slides.
